My wife has a 700+ credit score, but no job. I have a 500 credit score, but bring home about $2100 a month. Our recurring monthly bills now are less than $200 (this does not include water/power that we will need once buying a house). Is there any chance of getting a mortgage for say $80k? My credit score will not be getting better for about 3 years.
